Method
Marinating the Chicken

Prepare the Marinade
In a bowl, combine yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, garam masala, salt, and lemon juice to form a marinade.

Marinate the Chicken
Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces and add them to the marinade. Coat the chicken well and let it marinate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight in the refrigerator.
Cooking the Chicken

Cook the Chicken
In a large skillet or pan, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Add the marinated chicken and cook until it’s browned and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Making the Sauce

Add Tomato Puree
Add the pureed tomatoes to the skillet and cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally until the mixture thickens.

Spice it Up
Stir in cumin powder, coriander powder, fenugreek leaves, salt, and sugar. Mix well and cook for an additional 2 minutes.

Add Cream and Chicken
Lower the heat and slowly add the heavy cream while stirring. Add the cooked chicken back to the sauce and simmer for 5 minutes to combine the flavors.
Serving

Garnish and Serve
Remove from heat, garnish with chopped fresh cilantro, and serve hot with rice or naan.
