Fries

Method

Preparing Fries

  1. 1

    Cutting Potatoes

Wash and peel the Russet potatoes. Cut them into thin strips for fries.

  2. 2

    Soaking Potatoes

Soak the cut potatoes in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.

  3. 3

    Heating Oil

In a deep fryer or large pot, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).

  4. 4

    Frying Potatoes

Drain and pat the soaked potatoes dry. Carefully add them to the hot oil in batches, frying until golden and crispy, about 4-5 minutes per batch. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  5. 5

    Seasoning

While the fries are still hot, season them with salt and black pepper to taste.

Cooking Wagyu Steak

  1. 6

    Seasoning the Steak

Rub the American Wagyu steak with salt and black pepper on both sides.

  2. 7

    Grilling the Steak

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or to your desired doneness. Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Preparing Toppings

  1. 8

    Sautéing Vegetables

In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the sliced onions, mushrooms, and sweet peppers. Sauté until they are tender and slightly caramelized, about 5-7 minutes.

  2. 9

    Cheesing the Fries

Place the crispy fries on a serving platter, layer with sautéed vegetables, and top with slices of white American cheese. Allow the cheese to melt slightly.

  3. 10

    Adding Wagyu

Slice the rested Wagyu steak thinly and layer it on top of the cheesy fries.
