Preparing Fries

Cutting Potatoes
Wash and peel the Russet potatoes. Cut them into thin strips for fries.

Soaking Potatoes
Soak the cut potatoes in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.

Heating Oil
In a deep fryer or large pot, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).

Frying Potatoes
Drain and pat the soaked potatoes dry. Carefully add them to the hot oil in batches, frying until golden and crispy, about 4-5 minutes per batch. Remove and drain on paper towels.

While the fries are still hot, season them with salt and black pepper to taste.

Rub the American Wagyu steak with salt and black pepper on both sides.

Cheesing the Fries
Place the crispy fries on a serving platter, layer with sautéed vegetables, and top with slices of white American cheese. Allow the cheese to melt slightly.
