Preparing the Sub

Assemble the Sub
Take the 8-inch sub roll and slice it open horizontally without cutting all the way through.

Add Deli Meats
Layer 2 slices of your choice of deli meats inside the sub roll.

Add Cheese
Place 1 slice of cheese on top of the deli meats.

Add Vegetables
Add 1 leaf of lettuce, 2 slices of tomato, and optional onion rings to the sandwich.

Condiments
Spread mayonnaise or mustard on the inside of the sub roll to taste.

Close the Sub
Carefully close the sandwich and press gently to secure the filling.

Select either a small bag of chips or prepare 1 cup of cole slaw if desired.

Choose 1 chocolate chip cookie to accompany your lunch.
