Buffalo Wings
Method
Preparation
- 1
Preparation of Wings
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. In a large bowl, toss the wings with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder until evenly coated.
- 2
Frying Wings
In a large pot, heat vegetable oil to 375°F (190°C). Fry the chicken wings in batches until they are golden brown and crispy, about 8-10 minutes per batch. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- 3
Making Buffalo Sauce
In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, add the hot sauce and stir until combined. Allow to simmer for a few minutes.
- 4
Tossing Wings in Sauce
In a large bowl, combine the fried wings and hot sauce mixture. Toss until the wings are fully coated in the buffalo sauce.
- 5
Serving
Serve the buffalo wings hot with ranch dressing and celery sticks on the side.
