Chill the Glass
Before you start mixing, chill your cocktail glass. You can do this by filling it with ice water and letting it sit while you prepare the drink.

Mix the Ingredients
In a mixing glass, combine 2 oz of Stranahan's Colorado Whiskey, 1 oz of sweet vermouth, and 2 dashes of Angostura bitters.

Stir the Mixture
Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir the ingredients for about 30 seconds until well-chilled and diluted.

Strain into Glass
Empty the ice water from your cocktail glass and strain the mixed drink into the glass.

Garnish
Express the oil from a piece of orange peel over the drink and then drop it in. Add a maraschino cherry for garnish.
