Meatballs

Prepare the Meatball Mixture
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, bread crumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.

Form the Meatballs
Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking tray.

Bake the Meatballs
Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Bake the meatballs for 20-25 minutes until cooked through and browned.

Cook the Sauce
Add the canned crushed tomatoes, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, pepper, and sugar to the saucepan. Stir well and bring to a simmer. Let it cook for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add the Meatballs
Once the sauce has thickened, gently add the baked meatballs to the sauce and simmer for an additional 10 minutes.

Cook the Spaghetti
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Combine with Sauce
Toss the cooked spaghetti with the marinara sauce and meatballs until well coated.
Garlic Bread

Prepare the Garlic Butter
In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley until well combined.

Bake the Garlic Bread
Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Place the prepared bread on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until golden and crispy.
