Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

Start by making the simple syrup. Combine equal parts sugar and water in a saucepan, heat until sugar is dissolved. Allow to cool and store in a bottle.

  2. 2

Prepare the fruit puree ice ball. Blend your choice of redberries or blueberries with a little water or simple syrup until smooth. Pour into an ice mold and freeze until solid.

  3. 3

Take one fresh lemon and cut it in half. Squeeze the juice from one half into a measuring cup (you need about 1 oz of juice). Reserve the other half for muddling.

Mixing the Drink

  1. 4

    Muddle the Lemon

In a cocktail shaker, add the reserved half lemon (cut side down) and muddle gently to release the juices and oils.

  2. 5

    Add Vodka and Ingredients

Add 2 oz of Stoli flavored vodka, 1 oz of fresh lemon juice, and 0.5 oz of simple syrup to the shaker with the muddled lemon.

  3. 6

    Shake

Fill the shaker with ice, cover, and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.

Serving

  1. 7

    Prepare the Glass

Take a chilled cocktail glass and rim it with lemon juice. Dip the rim into granulated sugar to create a sugar rim.

  2. 8

    Strain and Garnish

Strain the mixture from the shaker into the prepared glass. Gently drop in the fruit puree ice ball and garnish with a lemon wedge.
