Hennessy V.s. Recipe

Preparation

   Chill the Glass

   Start by chilling your glass. You can do this by placing it in the freezer for about 10 minutes or filling it with ice water while you prepare the drink.

   Prepare the Ice

   Fill a cocktail shaker or a mixing glass with ice cubes.

   Measure the Cognac

   Pour 2 oz of Hennessy V.S. Cognac over the ice in the shaker or mixing glass.

   Add Optional Mixers (if desired)

   If you prefer a mixed drink, add your choice of soda water, ginger ale, or lemonade to the shaker. Adjust the quantity to taste.

   Shake or Stir

   If you added mixers, place the lid on the shaker and shake gently for about 10 seconds. If you just used cognac, you can stir the mixture gently with a bar spoon.

   Strain Into Glass

   Remove the glass from the freezer or discard the ice water. Strain the mixed drink into the prepared glass. If you used a shaker, use a strainer.

   Garnish

   Add a slice of lemon twist on the rim of the glass for garnish.
