Preparation Steps

  1. 1

    Infusing the Steak

In a shallow dish, combine the Woodford Reserve bourbon, olive oil, rosemary, and thyme. Add the ribeye steak, ensuring it's fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 12 hours, preferably 24 hours for deeper flavor.

  2. 2

    Dry Aging

After marinating, remove the steak from the bourbon mixture and pat it dry with paper towels. Season generously with kosher salt and black pepper on both sides.

  3. 3

    Cooking the Steak

Preheat your grill or skillet to high heat. Add a little olive oil to the pan or grill grates. Place the ribeye on the heat and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting time based on your preferred doneness.

  4. 4

    Resting

Once cooked to your liking, remove the steak from the heat and let it rest for at least 10 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute before slicing.

  5. 5

    Serving

Slice the steak against the grain and serve with your choice of two sides, enjoying the rich flavor of the infused dry-aged ribeye.
