Preparation Steps

  1. 1

    Cook the Rice

Rinse the white rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Combine the rice and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 18 minutes or until the rice is cooked and water is absorbed. Remove from heat and let it sit covered for another 10 minutes.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Vegetables

While the rice is cooking, prepare the vegetables. Slice the avocado, cucumber, and carrot into thin strips.

  3. 3

    Make the Dressing

In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce with grated fresh ginger to make a dressing.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Bowl

Once the rice is cooked, fluff it with a fork and divide it into serving bowls.

  5. 5

    Finish the Bowl

Top the rice with sliced avocado, cucumber, carrot, tuna, kimchi, and won ton crisps. Drizzle the ginger-soy dressing over the top and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve with your choice of soup or salad on the side.
