Method

Preparation of Potatoes

  1. 1

    Boil Potatoes

Peel and chop the potatoes into quarters. Place them in a pot of salted water and bring to a boil. Cook for about 15-20 minutes or until tender.

  2. 2

    Mash Potatoes

Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add butter, heavy cream, salt, and pepper. Mash until smooth and creamy. Set aside.

Cooking Asparagus

  1. 3

    Sauté Asparagus

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the asparagus and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until tender and slightly crispy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Cooking Surf & Turf

  1. 4

    Cook Filet Mignon

Season the filet mignon with salt and pepper. In a skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil and sear the filet for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Adjust cooking time for desired doneness.

  2. 5

    Prepare Lobster Tail

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Cut the top of the lobster tail shell with kitchen scissors. Brush the meat with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic. Bake for about 10-12 minutes until the meat is opaque.

Plating

  1. 6

    Serve

On a plate, arrange the mashed potatoes, sautéed asparagus, filet mignon, and lobster tail. Garnish with lemon wedges.
