Marinade for Prawns
Method
Preparation and Cooking
- 1
Marinate the Prawns
In a large bowl, combine Greek yogurt, tandoori masala, lemon juice, ginger paste, garlic paste, salt, black pepper, and vegetable oil. Mix well to form a marinade. Add the jumbo tiger prawns to the marinade, ensuring they are thoroughly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or preferably overnight.
- 2
Prepare the Grill
Preheat your grill or char-grill pan to medium-high heat. If using a charcoal grill, allow the coals to burn until they are covered with ash.
- 3
Grill the Prawns
Thread the marinated prawns onto skewers. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until the prawns turn pink and are cooked through.
- 4
Serve
Remove the prawns from the grill and serve immediately with pineapple chutney on the side.
