Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Paneer

Cut the paneer into cubes and set aside.

  2. 2

    Cook the Onions

In a pan, heat the oil or ghee over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter. Add the chopped onion and sauté until golden brown.

  3. 3

    Add Ginger-Garlic Paste

Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and cook for another 2 minutes until the raw smell disappears.

  4. 4

    Make the Tomato Sauce

Add the pureed tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Cook on medium heat until the oil separates from the mixture, about 10-12 minutes.

  5. 5

    Add Cream and Spices

Lower the heat, add the heavy cream and garam masala. Mix well and simmer for 5 minutes.

  6. 6

    Combine Paneer

Add the paneer cubes to the sauce and gently stir to coat the paneer. Cook for another 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

  7. 7

    Garnish and Serve

Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot with rice or gluten-free bread.
