Preparation of Ragda

Cook the Peas
In a pressure cooker, add soaked dried white peas, water, and salt. Cook for about 3-4 whistles or until the peas are cooked and soft.

Spice it Up
Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, chili powder, and cooked peas. Mix everything well and add water to adjust consistency. Let it simmer for about 10-15 minutes. Stir in garam masala and adjust salt.

Make the Mixture
In a bowl, mash boiled potatoes and mix in green peas, bread crumbs, chopped coriander leaves, green chilies, ginger paste, cumin powder, and salt.

Shape the Patties
Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into flat round patties.

Fry the Patties
Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the patties until golden brown on both sides. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Serving
