Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Paneer

Cut the paneer into bite-sized cubes and set aside.

  2. 2

    Sauté the Onions

In a large pan, heat the cooking oil over medium heat. Add the cumin seeds and let them splutter. Then add the chopped onions and sauté until they are golden brown.

  3. 3

    Add Spices and Tomatoes

Stir in the ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, and salt. Cook for a minute, then add the chopped tomatoes. Cook until the tomatoes are soft and mushy.

  4. 4

    Add Peas and Paneer

Add the green peas and paneer cubes to the pan. Stir gently to combine with the tomato mixture.

  5. 5

    Simmer the Curry

Add a cup of water if needed for desired consistency. Cover and let it simmer for about 10 minutes on low heat.

  6. 6

    Finish with Garam Masala

Once the curry is cooked, sprinkle garam masala over it and mix gently. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.

  7. 7

    Garnish and Serve

Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve hot with rice or naan.
