Preparing the Gassi

Adding Tomatoes and Spices
Add chopped tomatoes, curry leaves, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Cook until the tomatoes are soft.

Incorporating Coconut Milk
Pour in the coconut milk and tamarind paste, stirring well. Bring the mixture to a simmer.

Cooking the Seafood
Add the cleaned mussels and clams. Cover and cook for about 5-7 minutes until the seafood is cooked through and opens up.
Making the Mini Rice Dumplings

Preparing the Dough
In a bowl, mix the rice flour and salt. Gradually add water, kneading until a soft dough forms.

Forming Dumplings
Take small portions of the dough and shape them into tiny balls. Set aside.

Cooking the Dumplings
Boil water in a pot and add the rice dumplings. Cook for 5-6 minutes until they float to the surface. Remove and set aside.
