Directions
- 1
Prepare the Spice Paste
In a blender, combine red chili paste, grated coconut, coriander seeds, turmeric powder, garlic, ginger, and salt. Blend until you have a smooth paste.
- 2
Marinate the Salmon
Rub the spice paste over the salmon fillets, ensuring they are well coated. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- 3
Cook the Onions
In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and sauté until they are translucent.
- 4
Add Kokum and Salmon
Add kokum pieces to the skillet. Place the marinated salmon fillets on top and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily.
- 5
Serve
Once cooked, remove the salmon from the skillet. Serve hot with steamed rice or parathas, garnished with fresh coriander if desired.
