Preparation Steps

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a blender, combine hung curd, spinach, mint, cilantro, fenugreek leaves, garlic, ginger, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Blend until smooth to create a green marinade.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Salmon

Place the steelhead salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the green marinade over them. Ensure the fillets are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

  3. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and brush the grill grates with olive oil to prevent sticking.

  4. 4

    Grill the Salmon

Remove the salmon from the marinade and let any excess marinade drip off. Place the fillets on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until the salmon is cooked through and has nice grill marks.

  5. 5

    Serve

Once cooked, remove the salmon from the grill and serve hot, garnished with additional fresh herbs and lemon wedges if desired.
