Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your smoker or grill to 225°F (107°C). Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for better flavor absorption.

  2. 2

    Season the Ribs

In a bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and brown sugar. Rub the mixture generously over both sides of the ribs.

  3. 3

    Smoke the Ribs

Place the ribs in the smoker or on the grill bone side down. Smoke for about 4 hours for a full rack or 2 hours for a half rack, maintaining a temperature of 225°F (107°C).

  4. 4

    Apply BBQ Sauce

In the last 30 minutes of cooking, brush the ribs with BBQ sauce. Repeat every 10 minutes for a sticky glaze.

  5. 5

    Rest and Serve

Once cooked, remove the ribs from the smoker or grill and let them rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing. Serve with your favorite sides.
