    Prepare the Ribs

    Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and pat them dry with paper towels.

    Make the Rub

    In a bowl, mix together paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.

    Season the Ribs

    Rub the spice mixture all over the ribs, covering both sides thoroughly.

    Preheat the Smoker

    Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C) and add your choice of wood chips for smoking.

    Smoke the Ribs

    Place the ribs in the smoker bone side down and smoke for 3 hours.

    Prepare the Sauce

    In a saucepan, combine BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, and water. Bring to a simmer.

    Glaze the Ribs

    After 3 hours, brush the ribs with the sauce and smoke for an additional hour.

    Finish and Serve

    Remove the ribs from the smoker and let them rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
