Cooking Instructions
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). This will ensure that the salmon cooks evenly.
Prepare the Marinade
In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic cloves, chopped fresh dill, salt, and black pepper. This marinade will enhance the flavor of the salmon.
Marinate the Salmon
Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, making sure they are well coated. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes at room temperature. If you have more time, you can refrigerate them for up to 1 hour.
Prepare the Baking Sheet
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup. This helps prevent the salmon from sticking.
Bake the Salmon
Place the marinated salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin side down. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Serve
Once cooked, remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Serve warm, garnished with additional fresh dill and a lemon wedge if desired.
