Cooking Instructions
Prepare the Beef Patty
In a mixing bowl, gently combine the USDA Certified Angus Beef with salt and pepper to taste. Do not overwork the meat.
Form the Patty
Divide the beef mixture into two equal portions and shape each portion into a patty approximately 1-inch thick.
Preheat the Grill
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If using oak wood chips for smoking, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes prior to grilling.
Grill the Patties
Place the patties on the hot grill. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes for medium doneness. Add cheese if desired during the last minute of cooking.
Toast the Brioche Buns
During the last few minutes of grilling, place the brioche buns cut-side down on the grill to toast until golden brown.
Prepare the Toppings
While the patties are grilling, slice the tomato and onion. Wash and dry the lettuce leaves.
Assemble the Burger
Once the patties are cooked to your desired doneness, place each patty on a toasted brioche bun. Top with lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles.
Serve with French Fries
Serve the burgers hot with a side of French fries. Enjoy!
