Cooking Instructions
- 1
Cook the Pasta
In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the tagliatelle according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- 2
Sauté the Mushrooms
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook for about 5-7 minutes until they are browned and tender.
- 3
Deglaze with Wine
Pour in the white wine and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes, allowing the alcohol to evaporate and the flavors to meld.
- 4
Add Cream and Cheese
Reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream. Allow it to cook for a couple of minutes before adding the grated cheese, stirring until melted and smooth.
- 5
Combine with Pasta
Add the cooked tagliatelle to the skillet and toss to coat the pasta in the creamy mushroom sauce. If the sauce is too thick, you can add a splash of pasta water to reach the desired consistency.
- 6
Season and Serve
Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Sprinkle with fresh herbs before serving. Enjoy your Mushroom & Cheese Tagliatelle!
