Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pork Chops

Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels. This will help to achieve a nice sear. Season both sides generously with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Heat the Pan

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until it's shimmering.

  3. 3

    Sear the Chops

Add the pork chops to the skillet and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side until a golden-brown crust forms.

  4. 4

    Add Butter and Herbs

In the last minute of cooking, add the butter and rosemary to the pan. Baste the pork chops with the melted butter using a spoon.

  5. 5

    Check for Doneness

Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature of the pork chops reaches 145°F (63°C).

  6. 6

    Rest and Serve

Remove the pork chops from the pan and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.
