Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Chicken Wings
Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
- 2
Season the Wings
In a large bowl, combine salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss until they are evenly coated with the seasoning.
Cooking
- 3
Heat the Oil
In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 375°F (190°C). Use a thermometer to ensure the oil reaches the correct temperature.
- 4
Fry the Wings
Carefully add the seasoned chicken wings to the hot oil in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pot. Fry for about 10-12 minutes or until the wings are golden brown and crispy, turning occasionally.
- 5
Drain the Wings
Once cooked, use a slotted spoon to remove the wings from the oil and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
Serving
- 6
Toss with Sauce
In a large bowl, toss the crispy wings with your choice of sauce (Buffalo, BBQ, Honey mustard, or Ranch dressing) until they are well coated.
- 7
Serve
Arrange the sauced wings on a serving platter and serve immediately. Enjoy with extra sauce on the side!
