Preparation of Vegetables

  1. 1

    Prepare the Broccoli

Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the broccoli florets and blanch for 2-3 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp. Drain and immediately transfer to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process. Once cooled, drain again and set aside.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Brussels Sprouts

Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and remove any yellow or damaged leaves. Slice them in half. Bring another pot of water to a boil, add the Brussels sprouts, and blanch for 3-4 minutes. Drain and transfer to ice water. Once cooled, drain again and set aside.

Mixing the Dip

  1. 3

    Combine Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the blanched broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cream cheese, sour cream, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.

  2. 4

    Adjust Seasoning

Taste the dip and adjust seasoning if necessary, adding more salt or pepper to taste.

Serving the Dip

  1. 5

    Transfer to Serving Dish

Transfer the dip mixture to a serving bowl and smooth the top with a spatula.

  2. 6

    Serve with Bagel Chips

Arrange bagel chips around the dip and serve immediately, or refrigerate for up to 2 hours before serving to let the flavors meld.
