Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Lettuce

Carefully wash the Bibb lettuce head under cold water. Pat dry with a clean kitchen towel or use a salad spinner to remove excess water. Cut the lettuce into wedges and place them on a platter.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Tomatoes

Rinse the cherry tomatoes under cold water and cut them in half. Sprinkle them over the lettuce wedges on the platter.

  3. 3

    Slice the Scallions

Trim the ends of the scallions and slice them thinly. Add the sliced scallions on top of the tomatoes and lettuce.

  4. 4

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy. Remove from the skillet and place on paper towels to drain excess grease. Once cooled, crumble the bacon into bite-sized pieces and set aside.

Make the Dressing

  1. 5

    Combine Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, blue cheese, lemon juice, and garlic powder. Mix until well blended and smooth.

  2. 6

    Season the Dressing

Add salt and black pepper to the dressing to taste. Adjust seasoning as needed and set aside.

Assemble the Wedge Salad

  1. 7

    Top the Salad

Drizzle the prepared blue cheese dressing generously over the lettuce wedges. Scatter the crumbled blue cheese and crispy bacon on top.

  2. 8

    Serve

Serve immediately while the bacon is still crispy. Enjoy your delicious wedge salad!
