For the Wagyu Sliders

Method

Prepare the Wagyu Sliders

1

Form the Patties

In a large bowl, combine the Wagyu beef with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix gently with your hands until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, about 1-inch thick.

2

Cook the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the patties to the grill or skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.

3

Prepare the Buns

While the patties are cooking, slice the slider buns in half. Optionally, toast the buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

4

Assemble the Sliders

Once the patties are cooked and cheese has melted, place each patty on the bottom half of a toasted slider bun. Top with lettuce, a slice of tomato (sliced), a pickle slice, ketchup, and mustard. Cover with the top half of the bun.
