Pulled Pork Preparation

Prepare the Pork
In a large bowl, rub the pork shoulder with olive oil, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Ensure it’s well coated.

Cook the Pork
Place the pork shoulder in a slow cooker. Add sliced onion and minced garlic. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the pork is tender and easily shredded.

Shred the Pork
Once cooked, remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks. Return the shredded pork to the cooker and mix in the BBQ sauce. Let it warm for about 30 minutes.

Combine Drizzle Ingredients
In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and minced ginger. Whisk until well mixed and bring to a simmer. Cook for about 5 minutes, then remove from heat.
Lemongrass Sesame Seed Topping Preparation

Prepare the Topping
Finely chop the lemongrass stalk and mix it with sesame seeds and chopped cilantro in a small bowl. Set aside.
Assemble the Sliders

Build the Sliders
Slice the slider buns in half and place a generous amount of pulled pork on the bottom half. Drizzle with the sweet soy sauce mixture, then sprinkle the lemongrass sesame seed topping on top. Place the top half of the bun on and serve immediately.
