Marinade

Swordfish

Method

Marinade Preparation

  1. 1

    Mix the Marinade

In a medium mixing bowl, combine olive oil, fresh lemon juice, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Whisk the ingredients together until well blended.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Swordfish

Place the swordfish steaks in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the steaks, ensuring they are fully coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish, then refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.

Grilling the Swordfish

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If using a charcoal grill, make sure the coals are evenly distributed.

  2. 4

    Grill the Swordfish

Remove the swordfish from the marinade and let any excess marinade drip off. Place the steaks on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and has nice grill marks.

  3. 5

    Serve

Once grilled, remove the swordfish steaks from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes. Serve hot with your favorite sides and garnish with additional parsley if desired.
