Taco Filling
Citrus Slaw
Tortillas
Method
Prepare Fish
- 1
Marinate the Fish
In a bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Add the fish fillets and coat them well in the marinade. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 20 minutes.
- 2
Cook the Fish
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the fish from the marinade and cook for about 3-4 minutes per side or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Remove from heat and set aside.
Prepare Citrus Slaw
- 3
Mix the Slaw
In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage, grated carrot, sliced red onion, and chopped cilantro.
- 4
Make the Dressing
In a small bowl, whisk together lime juice, honey, and salt until well combined.
- 5
Combine
Pour the dressing over the slaw mixture and toss until everything is evenly coated. Let it sit for about 10 minutes for the flavors to meld.
Assemble Tacos
- 6
Warm Tortillas
In a dry skillet over medium heat, warm the flour tortillas for about 30 seconds on each side until they are pliable.
- 7
Build the Tacos
Place a few pieces of cooked fish in the center of each tortilla. Top with a generous amount of citrus slaw.
- 8
Serve
Fold the tortillas over the filling and serve immediately with lime wedges on the side.
