Patties

Buns and Toppings

Method

Prepare the Patties

  1. 1

    Mix Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the Wagyu ground beef, kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix gently until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.

  2. 2

    Form Patties

Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and gently shape each portion into a slider patty, about ¾ inch thick. Make a small indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing during cooking.

Cook the Patties

  1. 3

    Preheat Grill or Skillet

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. If using a skillet, add a little oil to prevent sticking.

  2. 4

    Cook the Patties

Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on one side until browned. Flip the patties, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each one, and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted and the patties are cooked to your desired doneness.

Prepare the Buns and Assemble

  1. 5

    Toast the Buns

In a separate skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add the slider buns cut-side down and toast until golden brown.

  2. 6

    Assemble the Sliders

On the bottom half of each toasted bun, layer a lettuce leaf, a cooked patty with melted cheese, a slice of tomato, pickles, ketchup, and mustard. Top with the other half of the bun.
