Method

Cooking the Pasta

  1. 1

    Boil the Water

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil.

  2. 2

    Cook the Linguine

Add linguine to the boiling water and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes.

  3. 3

    Drain the Pasta

Once cooked, drain the linguine, reserving about 1 cup of the pasta water. Set aside.

Preparing the Sauce

  1. 4

    Sauté Garlic

In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

  2. 5

    Add Seafood

Add the mixed seafood to the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes until the seafood is cooked through and opaque.

  3. 6

    Deglaze with Wine

Pour in the white wine and let it simmer for about 2-3 minutes to reduce slightly.

  4. 7

    Incorporate Cream

Stir in the heavy cream and let it simmer for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

  5. 8

    Season the Sauce

Add chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper to taste. Mix well.

Combining the Dish

  1. 9

    Combine Pasta and Sauce

Add the drained linguine to the skillet with the seafood sauce. Toss everything together gently, adding reserved pasta water as needed to reach desired consistency.

  2. 10

    Serve

Plate the seafood linguine and garnish with additional parsley if desired. Serve immediately.
