Preparing the Prawns

Boil the Prawns
In a large pot, bring 1 liter of water to a boil. Add 1 tsp of salt and the prawns. Cook for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.

Drain and Cool
Once cooked, drain the prawns and transfer them to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process. Let them cool for about 5 minutes.

Drain Again
Remove the prawns from the ice water and drain them well. Pat dry with paper towels.

Add Lemon Juice
Drizzle 2 tablespoons of lemon juice over the prawns and toss gently to coat.
Making the Cocktail Sauce

Combine Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of mayonnaise, 1 cup of ketchup, 2 tablespoons of horseradish sauce, 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1 teaspoon of black pepper.

Mix Well
Stir the mixture well until all ingredients are fully combined and smooth. Adjust seasoning to taste.
Assembling the Dish

Prepare Serving Plates
On individual serving plates, arrange 1-2 lettuce leaves as a bed for the prawns.

Add Prawns
Place the prepared prawns on top of the lettuce leaves.

Serve with Sauce
Spoon the cocktail sauce generously over the prawns or serve it on the side for dipping.

Garnish with lemon wedges on the side for an extra touch of freshness.
