    Cook the Macaroni

    In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Making the Cheddar Ale Sauce

    In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, whisk in the flour to form a roux. Cook for 1-2 minutes until golden.

    Gradually whisk in the milk, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens and is smooth.

    Incorporate Cheddar and Ale

    Remove from heat and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, ale, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until fully combined.

Combining Ingredients

    Mix Pasta with Sauce

    In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked macaroni and cheddar ale sauce. Stir until the pasta is evenly coated.

Toasting Parmesan Crumbs

    In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add breadcrumbs and grated parmesan cheese, stirring until golden brown and toasted.
