Burger Patty

Method

Prepare the Beef Patty

  1. 1

    Make the Patty

In a bowl, mix ground beef with salt and pepper. Form into two equal-sized patties.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patty

Grill or pan-fry the patties over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until cooked to desired doneness.

Prepare the Toppings

  1. 3

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet, cook the maple smoked bacon until crispy. Drain on paper towels.

  2. 4

    Prep the Tomatoes

Slice the vine-ripened tomato into thick slices.

  3. 5

    Prepare the Onion Strings

Fry the onion strings in hot oil until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.

Prepare the Fries

  1. 6

    Cut the Potatoes

Slice the russet potatoes into fries.

  2. 7

    Fry the Potatoes

Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot. Fry the potato slices in batches until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels. Season with salt.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 8

    Build the Burger

On a bun, place the cooked beef patty, top with dark ale cheddar, crispy bacon, sliced tomatoes, onion strings, and mustard aioli.

  2. 9

    Serve

Serve the burger alongside the fresh-cut fries.
