Prepare the Batter
In a bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, baking powder, salt, and Old Bay seasoning. Gradually add beer until a smooth batter forms.

Fry the Fish
Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C). Dip fish fillets in batter and carefully lower into hot oil. Fry until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes. Drain on paper towels.

Make the Slaw
In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage and carrot. In another bowl, mix mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper. Pour dressing over cabbage mixture and toss to combine. Refrigerate until serving.
Tartar Sauce

Prepare the Tartar Sauce
In a bowl, mix together mayonnaise, chopped dill pickles, capers, lemon juice, and dill until well combined. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
