    Cook the Fries

    Prepare the frozen French fries according to package instructions until crispy and golden brown.

    Prepare the Broth

    In a large pot over medium heat, add a little oil and sauté the minced garlic and chopped shallot until fragrant.

    Add Liquids

    Pour in the Fat Tug beer and shellfish broth. Bring to a simmer.

    Add Shellfish

    Add the mussels and clams to the pot. Squeeze in the juice of half the lemon and season with salt and black pepper.

    Cook Shellfish

    Cover the pot and let the shellfish steam for about 5-7 minutes, or until they open. Discard any that remain closed.

    Garnish and Serve

    Chop the fresh parsley and sprinkle it over the shellfish. Serve the shellfish with the remaining lemon wedges, fries, and crusty bread for dipping.
