Method

Crab Cakes Preparation

  1. 1

    Make the Crab Cakes

In a large bowl, mix together crab meat, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, green onions, beaten egg, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper. Form the mixture into patties.

  2. 2

    Cook the Crab Cakes

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the crab cakes for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from skillet and set aside.

Fries Preparation

  1. 3

    Prepare the Fries

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Toss the cut potatoes in olive oil and season with salt. Spread them out on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes until crispy, turning halfway through.

Sandwich Assembly

  1. 4

    Assemble the Sandwich

On the bottom half of each brioche bun, place a crab cake. Top with shredded amber ale cheddar cheese, arugula, and tomato slices. Spread lemon aioli on the top half of the bun and place it on the sandwich. Press down gently.
