Preparation of Ahi Tuna

    Marinate the Tuna

    In a bowl, mix soy sauce and sesame oil. Add the Ahi Tuna and marinate for 10 minutes. Remove and pat dry.

    Sear the Tuna

    Heat a skillet over high heat. Sear the Ahi Tuna for 1-2 minutes on each side until browned but still rare in the center. Remove from heat and let cool. Slice thinly.

Preparation of Avocado Smash

    Mash the Avocados

    In a bowl, mash the ripe avocados with lime juice, salt, and black pepper until smooth but still chunky.

Preparation of Blistered Jalapeños

    Blister the Jalapeños

    Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add jalapeños and cook until blistered on all sides. Sprinkle with salt and set aside.

Preparation of Wasabi Aioli

    In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, wasabi paste, and lemon juice. Mix well until smooth.

    In a small bowl, mix grated ginger, soy sauce, honey, and rice vinegar until well combined.

    On a serving platter, arrange wonton chips or cucumber slices. Top with avocado smash, sliced Ahi Tuna, blistered jalapeños, and a drizzle of wasabi aioli and ginger spice dip.
