Main Ingredients

Optional Marinade

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Pork (Optional)

If using the marinade, combine soy sauce, honey, and apple cider vinegar in a bowl. Add the pork tenderloin and coat it well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for best results.

  2. 2

    Season the Pork

Remove the pork from the marinade (if used) and pat it dry with paper towels. Rub the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder all over the pork tenderloin to ensure it's evenly seasoned.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Heat the Oil

In a deep frying pan or a deep fryer, heat the cooking oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C). You can test the oil's readiness by dropping a small piece of bread into it; if it sizzles and browns, the oil is ready.

  2. 4

    Fry the Pork

Carefully lower the seasoned pork tenderloin into the hot oil. Fry for about 6-8 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).

  3. 5

    Drain and Rest

Once cooked, remove the pork from the oil and place it on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. Let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.

  4. 6

    Serve

Slice the pork tenderloin into medallions and serve hot with your choice of sides.
