Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Pork Chops
Pat the boneless center cut pork chops dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. This helps achieve a nice sear when cooking.
- 2
Season the Pork Chops
In a small bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Rub the mixture evenly over both sides of the pork chops.
Cooking
- 3
Heat the Olive Oil
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering but not smoking.
- 4
Cook the Pork Chops
Add the seasoned pork chops to the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C) and the chops are golden brown.
- 5
Rest the Pork Chops
Remove the pork chops from the skillet and transfer them to a plate. Cover loosely with aluminum foil and let rest for 5 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute.
Serving
- 6
Serve the Pork Chops
Slice the pork chops if desired, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve immediately with your choice of sides.
