Method

Preparation of Meat

  1. 1

    Prepare the Sirloin

In a bowl, season the chopped sirloin with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix well and shape into patties, about 1 inch thick.

  2. 2

    Cook the Sirloin

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the sirloin patties for about 4-5 minutes per side until they are browned and cooked to your desired level of doneness. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Sautéing Vegetables

  1. 3

    Sauté Onions and Peppers

In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Add sliced onions and bell peppers. Sauté for about 5 minutes until they are soft and caramelized.

  2. 4

    Add Mushrooms

Add sliced mushrooms to the skillet and continue to sauté for another 4-5 minutes until they are tender. Remove from heat.

Assembly

  1. 5

    Combine and Melt

Place the cooked sirloin patties back in the skillet and top with the sautéed vegetables. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the top. Cover the skillet and let it cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese has melted.

Serving

  1. 6

    Prepare Accompaniments

While the cheese is melting, prepare your choice of potatoes (baked, mashed, or fries) and a side salad or soup.

  2. 7

    Serve

Serve the chopped sirloin supreme hot, accompanied by your prepared potatoes and salad or soup.
