Preparing the Steak

Tenderize the Steak
Place the beef round steak on a cutting board. Use a meat mallet to tenderize the steak until it is about 1/2 inch thick. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.

Set Up Breading Station
In one shallow bowl, place the flour. In a second bowl, beat together the eggs and milk. In a third bowl, combine breadcrumbs and paprika.

Heat Oil
In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

Fry the Steak
Carefully place the breaded steak in the hot oil. Fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
Making the Gravy

Add Milk and Season
Slowly whisk in the milk, stir continuously until the gravy thickens. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Serving

Plate the Dish
Serve the fried steak hot, drizzled with the country gravy. Enjoy!
