Prepare the Chicken

Grill the Chicken
Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Rub the chicken breasts with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked. Remove from heat and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
Cook the Fettuccine

Boil the Pasta
In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add 1 tablespoon of salt. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
Make the Alfredo Sauce

Prepare the Sauce
In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Slowly pour in the heavy cream while stirring. Bring the mixture to a low simmer and add the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and smooth. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Combine and Serve

Mix Everything Together
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked fettuccine, Alfredo sauce, and sliced grilled chicken. Toss until the pasta is well-coated with the sauce. Top with chopped parsley for garnish. Serve immediately.
