Preparation Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Brisket

In a slow cooker, place the brisket and cover it with BBQ sauce. Cook on low for 8 hours or until tender. Shred the brisket and mix it with the remaining BBQ sauce.

  2. 2

    Make the Cheese Sauce

In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes. Gradually add milk while whisking until thickened. Stir in cheddar cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper.

  3. 3

    Cook the Ground Chuck Patties

Form the ground chuck into 4 equal patties. Season with salt and pepper. Grill or pan-fry over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until cooked to your desired doneness.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Wet Nap

On each brioche bun, place a ground chuck patty, top with BBQ braised brisket, pour over the house-made cheese sauce, and finish with crispy fried onions. Serve immediately.
