Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Season the ribeye steak with salt and black pepper. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until it reaches your desired doneness. Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

  2. 2

    Caramelize the Onions and Peppers

In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Add the sliced onion and bell pepper. Cook on medium heat, stirring occasionally, until they are soft and caramelized, about 10-12 minutes.

  3. 3

    Assemble the Sandwich

Slice the baguette or sandwich rolls in half. Layer the sliced steak on the bottom half, followed by the caramelized onions and peppers. Top with provolone cheese and crumbled goat cheese. Place the sandwich under the broiler for 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  4. 4

    Serve

Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and then serve immediately.
