Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F). Remove the membrane from the back of the pork spare ribs for better flavor absorption.

  2. 2

    Make the Ancho Maple Glaze

In a bowl, combine the ancho chili powder, maple syrup, minced garlic, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, black pepper, and salt. Mix well to create a glaze.

  3. 3

    Apply the Glaze

Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Brush a generous amount of the Ancho maple glaze over the ribs, ensuring they are well coated.

  4. 4

    Bake the Ribs

Cover the ribs with another piece of aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, until the meat is tender.

  5. 5

    Finish and Serve

Remove the foil and brush the ribs with more glaze. Broil the ribs for an additional 5-10 minutes until caramelized. Let them rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
