Cook the Bacon
In a skillet, cook the bacon slices over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside on paper towels to drain excess fat.
- 3
Cook the Burger Patties
In the same skillet or on the grill, cook the burger patties for about 4-5 minutes on one side. Flip the patties and place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty. Continue cooking for another 3-4 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the burgers are cooked to your desired doneness.
- 4
Fry the Egg
In another small pan, heat 1 tablespoon of oil over medium heat. Crack an egg into the pan and cook until the white is set but the yolk is still runny, about 2-3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
- 5
Assemble the Burger
Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of each Public House bun. Place the burger patty with cheese on the bottom bun, top with crispy bacon, then carefully place the fried egg on top. Finish with the top half of the bun.
