Rice noodles stir-fried with pork, tofu, egg, green onions, bean sprouts and ground peanuts. Spiced with our house-made tamarind sauce. Served with our napa cabbage soup in chicken broth.

Preparing the Noodles and Ingredients

Soak the Rice Noodles
Soak the rice noodles in warm water for about 30 minutes or until they are soft. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Tamarind Sauce
In a small bowl, mix tamarind paste, soy sauce, fish sauce, sugar, and chili powder until combined. Set aside.
Cooking the Pad Thai

Cook the Pork and Tofu
In a large skillet or wok, heat a tablespoon of oil over medium heat. Add the sliced pork and cook until browned, about 4-5 minutes. Add the cubed tofu and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.

Add the Noodles and Sauce
Add the soaked rice noodles to the skillet along with the prepared tamarind sauce. Toss everything together and cook for another 3-4 minutes until heated through.

Add Vegetables and Serve
Add the chopped green onions and bean sprouts, tossing everything together for another minute. Serve hot, garnished with ground peanuts.
